Focus. Our youth programs help develop character, a moral code and a concern for the many social issues in the contemporary world. Programs are designed to speak to the individual and special needs of youth, and often combine mission work, learning, fellowship and fun. Youth Programs include:
- United Methodist Youth Fellowship (Youth Group). UMY is for youth in grades 7-12. The focus is on building relationships with God and each other. Meetings & activities are on Sunday evenings, 6 - 8 p.m.. Events are held throughout the year and combine learning, fellowship and social ministry. Special fund-raising activities include Christmas tree sales to support the summer youth mission trip. For information please contact Eric Song or John Smith.
- Youth Sunday School. Sunday School Classes are offered for Junior High and Senior High school age youth on Sundays at 9:30 a.m.
- Teen Community Bible Study. Addresses many of the timeless issues such as the meaning of life, the philosophies of living in a changing world, dealing with life's most difficult nuances and much more. For more information, please contact, Susan Speers.
- Confirmation. A class for students in grades 7 - 12 that explores the Christian faith and prepares them for membership in the Methodist Church. Next session begins in January 2009.
