BIBLE STUDIES

We seek to develop new insights and lead a life of deep commitment.


We study both the Hebrew Bible and the New Testament help us and use these teachings in our everyday lives. The studies refine and develop our social conscience and enlighten us to live lives of stewardship, fellowship and service. Classes meet from September through May and include:
  • Community Bible Study. Non-denominational Christian Bible Study held on Monday evening at 7:00. For information please contact Marilyn Thompson, or visit www.mcleanevecbs.org.

  • Christian Believer. A 32-week Bible Study focusing on the Scripture and theological writings. The next session will begin in September 2010. Please contect DCE Amy Crisp at 703-356-3312 for more information.

  • Monday Bible Study. Encourages each participant to experience new dimensions of prayer and spiritual growth, focusing on seasonal topics. Led by Pastor Jim Sprouse on Mondays, 6:30 - 8 p.m.

  • Tuesday Morning Bible Study. A small group gathers for breakfast and Bible study at McLean Family Restaurant from 7 - 8 a.m.

  • Women's Bible Study. For women of all ages, a class that requires no preparation as a one-hour Sabbath. Childcare is available. Wednesdays, 10-11 a.m.

  • Pastor's Thursday Bible Study. An in-depth Bible study on Thursdays from 10-11 a.m. except the first Thursday of the month. New students are welcome at any time during the year. Contact Pastor Sprouse at 703.356.3312.
